Lighting, which is one of the important elements of architecture in providing the visual comfort conditions of the space and calculating the energy consumption, plays a major role in the energy performance of the building. For this purpose, an office building was chosen as the working area due to its use throughout the day, the high number of users and high energy consumption. In the study, based on the EN 15193 Energy Performance of Buildings- Energy Requirements standard for lighting, the method of BEP-TR which was developed for Turkey was introduced briefly. In the study, firstly, the artificial lighting made on the floor plan of the chosen office was positioned and the obtained results by analyzing the energy consumption and visual comfort conditions of the halogen lighting and LED lighting in the Dialux program were discussed. Afterwards, cities from different climatic regions were determined on the selected office building, and the obtained results were discussed by calculating the lighting energy performance values and lighting energy class in accordance with the Bep-Tr calculation method.
