Sulfamoylbenzoic acid derivatives and metal complexes are well known for their biologicalactivities, such as antifungal, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, antidiabetic, pain reliever, infection therapy, diuretic, meniscus, enzyme inhibitor and rheumatism treatment. The structures simple metal {Cu(II), Zn(II), Ag(I), U(IV), Lu, Y, Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb,Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb, Sn} and mixed ligand complexes {Cu(II)} of 4-sulfamoylbenzoic acid, simple metal and mixed ligand Cu(II) complexes of 2-methoxy-5-sulfamoylbenzoic acid andZn(II) complex of 2,4-dikloro-5-sulfamoylbenzoic acid are explained by various spectroscopic methods in literature. The simple metal complexes of 4-kloro-3-sulfamoylbenzoic acid have not found in literature. In this study, four new Fe(III) complexes (Fe4sba, Fe2MeO5sba, Fe4Cl3sba ve Fe24Cl5sba)of 4-sulfamoylbenzoic acid, 2-methoxy-5-sulfamoylbenzoic acid, 2,4-dikloro-5-sulfamoylbenzoic acid and 4-kloro-3-sulfamoylbenzoic acid have been prepared andcharacterized by elemental, FTIR, magnetic and molar conductivity measurements.
