Article Evaluation Process

How Long Does the Article Evaluation Process Take?

It is anticipated that the publication evaluation process of the studies submitted to the EUROASIA Journal of Applied Sciences will be finalized within 2 months at the latest. However, the period between the date when the referee or editors request corrections from the author and the date when the authors complete the corrections is not included in this 2-month period.

Initial and Preliminary Evaluation Process

After the studies are uploaded to the EUROASIA Journal of Applied Sciences www.euroasiajournal.org system, they are first generally evaluated by the Editor. In these evaluations, firstly, the plagiarism rate of the work is determined through iThenticate and Turnitin programs, and then it is checked whether the research can be published and sent to the referee in terms of general principles. As a result of the evaluation, studies that are not original, do not comply with ethical rules, and do not comply with publication and writing rules are rejected. In studies with deficiencies; The articles and principles that need to be removed, completed, corrected/edited are determined and the responsible author is requested to complete these deficiencies. For the works corrected in this way, the appropriate referees are determined by the field editors.

Referee Appointment Process

For the studies, referees can be determined by looking at the content of the subject and the field of expertise of the referees. Referees may be suggested by the editor and/or the editorial board of the journal or by the authors. The referee candidates are examined and finalized by the editorial board and the articles are sent to the referees who are appointed according to the double-blind refereeing system.

Bilateral Blind Arbitration and Evaluation Process

The double-blind refereeing method is based on the objective evaluation of scientific studies. In this system, our journal uses a double-blind refereeing system in which the identities of the referees and authors are kept confidential to each other. For this reason, referee names are not published. It strives to keep the identities of the authors and referees confidential.

Referee Evaluation Process

The referees are given a certain amount of time for the referee evaluation process. The referees make their evaluations and submit their reports during this time. Correction suggestions from referees or expert editorial board members are completed by the authors in accordance with the Editorial Principles and Writing Rules and within the appropriate time given. The referees can decide on the suitability of the study by examining the corrections, as well as request corrections more than once and report their final opinions/decisions.
