The New Member of Indoor Ornamental Plants: Potted Vegetables

People grow indoor ornamental plants for their beautiful leaves, fragrant and ornamental flowers. In addition, edible plants such as ornamental peppers, mint and basil are plants that decorate homes. However, some events that have occurred in the world in recent years have changed the understanding of life and preferences. For example, the Covid-19 pandemic has changed many things in our lives. In the Covid-19 pandemic, people came to the conclusion that the most important reason for surviving the disease or getting over the disease with get off easy and light is good nutrition. Understanding the importance of nutrition and the curfew made people take up different activities. One of the most important of these activities was turning to plant production. Returns to villages began, and plant production began by renting or purchasing plant land. In addition, vegetable production at home, in pots or with soilless agriculture kits, began. With the increase in the demand for vegetable production in pots or soilless farming kits at home in recent years, vegetable production has been carried to living rooms and balconies. The most important reasons for producing vegetables in pots, with soil and without soil are; they are sure that they are healthy products, they are sure that no pesticides are used. In addition, people enjoy picking them from the branch and using them in cooking or salad and cooking immediately. As a result of this production, people who are engaged in it learn how to be productive and gain a new line of work.
