Abstract

This study was carried out to investigate anatomical and histological developments occurring during graft union and adventitious root formation on pine (Pinus pinea L.). As a result of the investigation, it was observed that all stages of the union were also achieved in the graftings in some graft samples, it was determined that there is a weeker union or no union between the graft interfaces due to insufficient callus formation. poor matching of the cambial regions as desired or negative effects of the necrotic layers on the other hand. Adventitious root formation was not seen microscopically observation of cross-cut taken from wood cutting.
