Mathematical analysis of the effects of some selected factors on the Crude Divorce Rate by using ANN and ODE

In this study, the factors affecting the Crude divorce rate in Turkey were determined as Total Fertility Rate (Number of Children), Crude Marriage Rate (Per Thousand(‰)), Population Growth Rate (Per Thousand(‰)) and General Happiness Level (%) (Unhappy or Very Unhappy). The effects of these factors were examined mathematically through both ANN and linear differential equations. For this purpose, the data obtained from TSI (Turkish Statistical Institute) for the years 2005-2023 was increased with the linear differential equation system for the same years and made suitable for ANN analysis. Then, the performances of ANN activation function and differential equation system for crude divorce rate were compared. In this comparison, it is shown and predictions are made that linear ODE performs much better.
