Özet

The article discusses the virtual research environment (VRE) as central participant modern research scenarios. The study VRE begins with five group definitions, demarcatedaccording to the key words: "collaboration", "Science Gateway", "digital library", "virtual organization", " computing/digital ecology" and "ecology software". Particular attention ispaid to the evolution of the concept of "virtual research environment" in the UK from 2004 to2013 and projects — the winner’s in the competition VRE of the European Union, as well aslists the benefits and drivers development of virtual research environments
