Yumurtacı Tavuk Rasyonlarında Alternatif Protein Kaynaklarının Performans ve Yumurta Kalitesi Üzerine Etkileri

Özet

Bu araştırmanın amacı, adi mürdümük (Lathyrus sativus L.) tohumunun protein ve enerji kaynağı olarak yumurtacı civciv, piliç ve tavuk rasyonlarına farklı düzeylerde katılmasının; canlı ağırlık, yem tüketimi, yemden yararlanma oranı, yumurta verimi, yumurta ağırlığı, yumurta kütlesi, yumurta kalitesi ve yaşama gücü üzerine etkilerini incelemektir. Çalışmada, bir günlük 198 adet Beyaz Leghorn civciv kullanılmış ve deney 40 hafta boyunca sürdürülmüştür. Mürdümük tohumu, rasyonlara %0 (kontrol), %10 (M10), %20 (M20) ve %30 (M30) oranlarında ilave edilmiştir. Canlı ağırlık artışı bakımından en olumlu sonuç M20 grubunda elde edilmiş ve bu grup dengeli bir büyüme göstermiştir. 0–21 ve 22–40. haftalar arasında yem tüketimi gruplar arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılık göstermemekle birlikte, her iki dönemde de en yüksek tüketim M30 grubunda gözlenmiştir. Yumurta verimi açısından gruplar arasında fark bulunmamakla birlikte, 22–40. haftalar arasında en yüksek verim M10 grubunda (%86,5) elde edilmiştir. Bir düzine yumurta için hesaplanan yemden yararlanma oranı açısından gruplar arasında anlamlı fark saptanmamıştır. Yumurta ağırlıkları genel olarak benzer bulunmuş, ancak 40. haftada M10 grubunda anlamlı bir düşüş gözlenmiş, buna karşılık M20, M30 ve kontrol gruplarında daha yüksek değerlere ulaşılmıştır. Yumurta kütlesi bakımından, mürdümük tohumunun rasyona %10’a kadar güvenle eklenebileceği; daha yüksek düzeylerin ise yumurta kütlesini sınırlayabileceği anlaşılmıştır. Yumurta kalitesi bakımından dikkate değer bulgular elde edilmiştir. Yumurta sarısı rengi M10, M20 ve M30 gruplarında daha koyu çıkarken, en yüksek değer M10 grubunda (7,83) ölçülmüştür. Sarı çapı kontrol ve M10 gruplarında daha yüksek, M30 grubunda ise anlamlı şekilde düşük (3,92 cm) bulunmuş ve bu azalma mürdümük düzeyine bağlı olarak doğrusal, ikinci dereceden ve üçüncü dereceden etkilerle istatistiksel olarak anlamlı kabul edilmiştir. Sarı indeksi en yüksek değere M30 grubunda (45,94) ulaşmış; bu değişim de benzer şekilde anlamlı bulunmuştur. Diğer yumurta kalite parametreleri ile yaşama gücü bakımından gruplar arasında anlamlı bir fark gözlenmemiştir.
